Our story began in the early 1980s, when Mrs. Doreya Khalil (affectionately known as Lola) and her mother established a boutique nursery in an elite villa in Mohandessin . The Kangaroo Nursery quickly gained recognition for its warm, multilingual environment — offering diverse language programs that served a vibrant community of German, English and French expatriates. The Kangaroo Nursery was the number one nursery of choice that will prepare kids for difficult school admissions to the best schools in Cairo, including the German school DEO, French Lycee and El Alson. Families were drawn not only to the academic strength of the nursery, but to the sense of belonging, structure, and intentional care embedded in its daily life.
